We are formed of many rivers and threads of being: mountains, oceans, forest, desert, entire landscapes are carried within us. Through that many peoples who lived in one place and knew the Holy Names of the spirits of that place. Many peoples who were nomadic, who travelled, and moved around. Peoples who were stolen, removed, taken away, peoples who were carried on ships, people who invaded, settled, and took over. We are at a time in which all our ancestors haunt and inspire us, clamouring to express through us - as us. In this immersion we commune with human and more-than-human ancestors and we acknowledge and honour in silence, sound, ceremony, and conversation, the complex crossroads of these times. We gather to invoke who we are becoming, aligning with our Triple Soul, and calling forth the Vision, the Song, the Art, the Power that comes through us, as us. In these times. We summon and occupy our Agency, so that we may serve and celebrate here and now - our work/play/art to do - with love, truth, and wisdom. We come to remember, to acknowledge, to honour, to release, to transform, to imagine, to invoke. You are the invitation. May we become the invocation.
