Dionysos. The Initiator. The Mad One who is Healed and Healer. The Horn'd One! The Beloved One of the Maenads. God Who Comes! Torn Apart by Titans. Son of Persephone, of Khthonic Zeus, of the Serpent in the Earth. Lover of the Mysteries and the Shape-Changing, Skin-Turning Dance of Liberation!
We come to You between the Worlds. We come to understand our place and mysteries as Queer Ones with You. We come to experiment with and experience the changing shapes of bodies and discover the depth of the Dionysian Body. This working and intensive will centre on Queer eros, Queer bodies, and Queer experience. Come, come, whoever you are. x
In this 5 hour intensive via Zoom witches, initiates, seekers, and mystics from across the world and many continents will converge to immerse within ecstatic process and ritual to honour our connections with the God Who Comes. (There will be a 40 minute break in the middle of the 5 hours)
In order to attend this intensive you will need to feel confident and be practised in the following:
*Grounding and Centring
*Entering trance and returning thoroughly
*Mediating, moving, raising, and directing life-force
*Awareness of one's own etheric and auric skins and boundaries
*A foundational ability to negotiate and navigate with the Spirits and with Your Selves
The sliding scale for this intensive is in Australian Dollars: 120-75 AUD.
You will need to ensure you have a quiet/contained/secure space in which you can lay down, move around, and make sound in the ways accessible to you. Of course you could be still and silent the entire time too, the Dionysian magics work in infinite ways.
Wine will be present for some of us, but we will work with wine without ever taking more than a few intense, potent sips, feeding icons, and anointing our own bodies. If you are in recovery but still wish to be among us, you need not have wine with you. Dionysos may be the Lord of the Vine and the God who blesses and inspires drunken, orgiastic states... but Their also possesses mysteries that do not concern drinking alcohol of any kind and states of consciousness that can be reached without any external substances. These too will be discussed!
Any and all First Nations/Indigenous/Aboriginal folks who meet the pre-requisites listed above and who wish to attend but do not currently have funds to do so, may attend without paying on the sliding scale.
This intensive will be facilitated in English.
